A business website
Up to five pages, custom designed for your business. WordPress if your team will edit it; static on Cloudflare if speed and low hosting cost matter more.
The Devsoll Free Build
You choose what we make. We build it properly, at the same standard as the eight properties we run ourselves — and we do it in public so you can see exactly how it was done.
Why we do this
Devsoll is a young studio. We have eight live properties we built and operate ourselves, but we are early in taking on client work — and the one thing we cannot manufacture is a track record with other people’s businesses.
So we are doing the obvious thing: building real work for real businesses, in the open, until the track record exists. You get the work, to the standard we hold our own properties to. We get to show what we can actually do rather than describe it. There is no catch buried in the terms, and nothing to pay at any point.
At a glance
Your choice
One project, roughly a week of our time. Everything we do for paying clients is on the table.
Up to five pages, custom designed for your business. WordPress if your team will edit it; static on Cloudflare if speed and low hosting cost matter more.
Category architecture plus ten researched articles with structured data, author setup and the legal pages a monetisable site needs.
A working workflow that removes a repeated manual job — lead intake and triage, content pipelines, reporting, or an assistant grounded in your own material.
Structured data, metadata, internal linking, Core Web Vitals and WCAG accessibility on an existing site, with a before-and-after report.
A focused application on edge infrastructure — a calculator, a generator, a client portal, an internal dashboard. Ours runs 117 tools serverless.
A logo, a small brand system, and a single high-converting landing page built around one offer.
Not sure which fits? Describe the problem in your application and we will tell you honestly which of these solves it — or that none of them do.
How it works
Tell us about your business, what you would like built, and why it matters to you. It takes a few minutes. The more specific you are, the stronger your application — vague entries do not win.
This is judged, not a raffle. We pick the application where the work will make the clearest difference and where the person has been specific about what they need. Everyone who applies hears back either way.
Scope agreed in writing first, then a concept for approval, then the build. Exactly the process a paying client gets, because a free project you cannot rely on is worth nothing.
Handed over complete — files, logins, and a written record. The domain and hosting stay in your name throughout. Our access is removed and credentials rotated at handover.
The rules
Written plainly, because a free offer with hidden conditions is not free.
Nothing. You get the work, you own it outright, and you owe us nothing afterwards.
If you are genuinely happy with the result at the end, we will ask whether you would be willing to say so publicly, and whether we may name you in a case study. Entirely your call — made after you have seen the work, never before. A review agreed in advance is not worth having.
Not included
No payment, ever. There is nothing to buy, no entry fee, and no obligation to become a client afterwards. Winning does not commit you to anything beyond the three things above.
Selection is on merit, not chance. We read every application and choose the one where the work will do the most good. That is a judgement, and it is ours.
Scope is fixed. One project, roughly a week of our work. If what you need is genuinely larger, we will tell you straight away and quote it properly instead of half-building it.
We may decline a winner. If a project turns out to fall into the excluded list above, or the scope was misdescribed, we will say so and pick again. We would rather be awkward once than deliver something bad.
Your data. Applications are used to run this programme and to reply to you. Nothing is sold or passed on. See the privacy policy.
Apply
Applications close Saturday at 23:59 UTC. The winner is announced on Sunday, and everyone hears back either way.
Would rather not wait
If the work matters enough that a monthly draw is too slow, tell us what you need and we will quote it properly.
